Van Specs
The van is 2.5m wide and 8m long, requiring a driveway at least 2.6m wide and mostly flat for parking. If the driveway is too narrow, we can park on the road. Please ensure any trees along the driveway are trimmed for clearance.
Power
We require a standard 230V outlet (NZ plug) to power the van. We provide our own RCD device and outdoor extension cord. In some weather conditions, a second 230V outlet may be needed to power the air conditioning unit.
Internet
Ping Zero will run an internet cable from your property to the van for the best online experience. If you don't have internet, we can set up a 5G or Starlink hotspot at an additional cost, though coverage cannot be guaranteed.
Suitable Ages
There’s no age limit for gamers! Ping Zero provides guidance on age-appropriate games. While the van has 8 seats, it comfortably fits kids aged 14 and under, allowing our host to move around and ensure a seamless experience.
Service Area
We currently serve the entire Auckland region. Locations within 20 km of Auckland CBD are included in the van hire. For distances beyond that, we charge $1.20 per km. For example, if you're 45 km from the CBD, the additional cost would be $60 (25 km x 2).
Payment
Payment is required upfront to secure your booking, but we're happy to accommodate changes. If you need to reschedule, we’ll credit your booking to a new date within 3 months of the original event. For cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the event, we offer a full refund. Cancellations within 2 weeks will receive a 75% refund, and cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
